MachineMetrics, Tsugami/Rem Sales Partner to Provide Machine Monitoring
MachineMetrics and Tsugami/Rem Sales have partnered to outfit Tsugami Swiss-type machines with the former’s remote monitoring platform.
MachineMetrics and Tsugami/Rem Sales LLC have partnered to bring predictive manufacturing analytics and remote machine monitoring to end users across North America. The MachineMetrics Industrial Internet of Things manufacturing analytics platform, paired with Tsugami/Rem Sales’ Swiss-type machines, is expected to benefit end users through improved production visibility, predictive analytics and service.
“For years now, we have been working directly with manufacturers to improve manufacturing equipment uptime, overall equipment effectiveness and productivity with real-time machine monitoring and analytics,” says Bill Bither, CEO of MachineMetrics. “We are enabling Tsugami/Rem Sales to extend these benefits to their customer base while providing them with faster, better service. Our data science team is working closely with the data to deliver optimized preventive and predictive maintenance specific to Tsugami machines to improve machine uptime.”
MachineMetrics’ Health for Equipment Manufacturers enables machine makers and distributors to improve customer service by resolving machine problems without the necessity of on-site visits. In real time, service managers and technicians can remotely monitor, manage, diagnose and resolve customers’ machine issues using the company’s cellular edge device. Data collected using the device enables equipment manufacturers to gain insight into customers’ equipment health, identify new service opportunities, predict potential equipment failure, highlight elevated risk areas and take preventative action before problems impact customers’ machine performance.
“Tsugami/Rem Sales is thrilled to partner with MachineMetrics,” says Michael Mugno, vice president of Tsugami/Rem Sales. “The addition of MachineMetrics to our Swiss-turn machine platform packages allows users to collect data on machine health, production status and downtime, bettering businesses across the industry.”
