Configurable Linear Motor Milling Machine

The five-axis LinX Compact series of medium-sized linear motor milling machines uses a mobile crossbeam to support both high speed and high-power operations. Three versions are available—LinX 20, LinX 30 and LinX 35—offering Y-axis strokes of 79, 116 or 144". The minimum X-axis stroke of these machines is 79", but this can be increased using modular, 79" extensions.

More Than Big Machines

This shop specializes in very large components such as rotor hubs and support bases for wind turbines. Its lineup of large horizontal boring mills can handle parts weighing 40,000 pounds and 12 feet on a side. However, the shop’s success also lies in other manufacturing resources and strategies. These include material handling equipment, customized tooling, special fixtures and wireless, portable measuring systems.
