View MoreVektek announces the Screw-In Cartridge Mount Twin Lever Link Clamps, which the company will showcase at Westec 2021, booth 1644.
According to Vektek, this new design is made possible with its patented rotary lug, which delivers 360 degrees of lever/body positioning. The screw-in cartridge mount body reportedly minimizes the clamp footprint and saves space on the fixture.
Vektek says the Twin Lever Link Clamp allows for clamping two parts simultaneously or for clamping through a part opening on two sides. Vektek’s pivot equalizing system applies equal clamping force through both levers on surfaces that are within .06”. The upright position of the levers gives clearance for easy part loading and unloading.
Vektek says using the clamp is straightforward; simply machine a cavity, drill feed passages and screw-in the threaded link clamp body and torque. After positioning the rotary lug, pressure the clamp on the part and lock it in position by tightening the set screws.
