KMT Waterjet’s Streamline Pro 125hp high-pressure pump operates at 125 hp and provides waterjet pressure ranging to 90,000 psi/6.200 bar. With an orifice diameter of 0.016", the unit decreases cutting time compared to conventional systems, the company says. The pump is designed for applications ranging from intricate, detailed cutting with tight tolerances to rapid hole drilling, as well as cutting thick metals, including steel, titanium and aluminum. It can be used with a small, single cutting head or for high-volume applications that require a multiple-head system. With dual cutting heads using orifices measuring 0.011" in diameter, the unit can achieve flow rates of 1.43 gpm.
Also available is the Streamline Pro 60hp. Operating at 60 hp, the unit offers water pressure of 90,000 psi/6.200 bar. On both models, the company’s Swivel PRO attachment enables five-axis 3D cutting to accommodate a range of applications.
