View MoreShopGuru’s digital work instruction software is designed for CNC machine operators of all skill levels. According to the company, it offers a robust, secure solution that can enhance the efficiency and accuracy of CNC machine operations. By integrating detailed job management and visual aids, ShopGuru can provide machinists with all the information they need. This software is designed to specifically address the needs of CNC machine operators, enabling experienced machinists to capture their process in detail to help less experienced operators run jobs on their own, allowing for less supervision.
The software enables comprehensive job details management. Users can input all work offsets and workholding devices and equipment, as well as customize fields for further machine instructions. Users can also specify tooling type and description — including cutting edge info, tool data information and adaptive items — as well as assign critical dimensions, measuring instructions and information about tool responsible for job dimensions.
The software features clear visuals that include photos and videos in the workholding, tooling and inspection sections. Markup capabilities are available for photos so users can add notes and further desired data. Users can attach all job files, drawings and 3D models, as well as create and store PDFs, Excel or Word documents for additional instructions. Old files can be saved for future reference.
The on-premise installed software eliminates many cybersecurity issues associated with cloud-based systems, and shops have direct control over their specific security measures. Full onboarding and continuous training are included with subscription.
