Gage Management Software Optimized for Ease of Use
1factory announces the general availability of its Gage Management solution. Features include gage calibration management, gage transactions (issue/return), gage kits, gage R&R and work order traceability.
1factory’s gage management system is designed to address common gage calibration challenges. The system features the ability to set up gages via excel import or add gages individually for gage calibration management. It captures gage metadata, including resolution, range, accuracy, storage location and default owner. Other features include the ability to set up calibration templates and record calibration data against master gages, attach calibration certs and record actions taken for out-of-cal gages. It also generates calibration reminders 30 days prior to calibration and makes records easily retrievable.
The gage transaction (issue/return gages) feature is designed to enable quick gage issuing to and return from a job, operation, machine, location or user. Users can print and scan barcode labels with gage IDs, gage serial numbers, and calibration due dates. It also offers the ability to view gage transaction history.
The system also features a gage kit (a group of gages specific to a part number) and Gage R&R. Users can set up R&R studies by defining the number of operators, trials and parts. 1factory’s Gage Management module integrates and complements other QMS features to provide an end-to-end manufacturing and supplier quality solution.
