GTI Predictive Technology released an explosion-proof Bluetooth accelerometer for the iPad. The sensor features an internal battery that can power the accelerometer for up to five years. The accelerometer also utilizes instant in-app pairing to enable fast connection to the sensor. Users can turn on the sensor and open the VibePro-Ex app to capture vibration readings.
The VibePro Ex app builds on the foundation of VibePro. The smart sensor features its own central processing unit, enabling the app to change the sensitivity of the sensor as needed. Users can change the capture sensitivity to 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500 or 5000 mV/g.
The app is also equipped with a single capture to simultaneously gather time waveform data, acceleration and velocity spectrums, displacement is available on the web application. The iPad app includes additional post-processing tools like demodulation, windowing and filters.
