Digipas Vertical Precision Digital Level Optimizes Alignment
IMTS 2024: Digipas Technologies Inc. is presenting live demonstrations of the Digipas DWL1900XY two-axis vertical precision digital level, designed to enhance operational efficiency and streamline alignment processes.
Digipas Technologies Inc. is demonstrating its DWL1900XY two-axis vertical precision digital level. It is said to address time-consuming challenges of machine setup and vertical alignment, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and profitability for manufacturing and industrial sectors.
This digital level can simultaneously measure both Zx and Zy axes with precision and accuracy. Specifications include a dual-axis measuring range from 90.000 degrees to ±5.000 degrees with measurement resolutions as fine as 1 µm per 50 mm to 17 µm per 1,000mm, and a measurement speed of ≤5 seconds. The device also features an LED display, operates on 2 × AA 1.5V batteries or USB power and is constructed from durable PC ABS and zinc alloy materials.
Equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, the DWL1900XY seamlessly integrates with the Digipas Smart Level mobile app, which can enable real-time data visualization on smartphones and unlocking other features including simultaneous multiaxis readouts, multidevice connectivity, multiple units of measurement, self calibration and more. The DWL1900XY can also optimize machine setup processes, which is said to save up to 70% of time with just one operator and generate over 50% in cost reduction. This efficiency boost is designed to directly translate to enhanced productivity and profitability for precision operations.
When used in conjuction with Digipas DWL1500XY horizontal precision level, DWL1900XY is capable of performing these functions:
- Straightness of Z-axis motion
- Squareness of Z-axis motion to Y-axis motion
- Parallelism of the spindle axis to the Z-axis motion
- Squareness of the table surface to the Z-axis motion
Plus, the level can conduct other routine checks in accordance to ISO 10791 and JIS B6336-2. These functionalities can streamline the alignment process for CNC machines and coordinate measurement equipment, enabling precise calibration of both vertical and horizontal planes.
The device complies and can be certified to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 calibration standards, with traceability to NIST, JIS and DIN for accuracy and reliability.
