Beginning this month, cutting tool manufacturer Sandvik Coromant (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) offers a series of one-day titanium milling seminars for aerospace manufacturers. Titled “Taking Flight: Productive Machining in Titanium,” the seminars will feature technical presentations on the latest application techniques; new tool and insert grade introductions; troubleshooting tips; in-depth theory; optimization and method comparisons; and live machine demonstrations of operations including pocket milling, face milling and slotting.
