Visitor registration is officially open for the first iteration of MM Live USA, a new trade show focusing on micro manufacturing. Organized by Rapid News Communications, the event is scheduled for May 11-13 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Entrance is free of charge.

The new show is being launched in response to demand from micro and precision equipment and service suppliers for an event dedicated to the North American market. Exhibits will cover the full spectrum of micro-manufacturing technologies, from laser cutting, welding and micromachining to injection molding, inspection, handling and assembly. Also included alongside the main exhibition is the MM Live Tech Briefing Conference, a series of free presentations from experts covering all the key technologies employed in making and verifying precision micro components.

The new show will run alongside PDx/amerimold, another new trade show focused on product design and development, tooling and mold manufacturing. Built on the foundation of the established MoldMaking Expo and Time Compression Expo, PDx/amerimold is presented by “Modern Machine Shop” publisher Gardner Publications (Cincinnati, Ohio) and DEMAT GmbH (Frankfurt, Germany).
