An upcoming conference will promote the benefits and implementation of MTConnect and showcase commercially available products that use the communications standard, which was developed to improve connectivity and interoperability on the shop floor. Scheduled for November 8-19 at the Hyatt Regency in Cincinnati, Ohio, the first-ever MTConnect: Connecting Manufacturing Conference aims to bring together both the business and technical sides of the standard in one place, organizers say.
