Metrology equipment supplier Mitutoyo America (Aurora, Illinois) has opened an M3 Solution Center in Birmingham, Alabama, the first facility of its type in south-central United States. According to the company, the 4,800-square-foot showroom is said to provide a convenient location for area customers, many of whom are affiliated with a growing automotive industry, to schedule appointments for product demonstrations and assistance with metrology application challenges. A grand opening celebration scheduled for Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23 will include facility tours, refreshments, raffles and live demonstrations.
