View MoreIndustrial Press, a publisher of technical books for engineering, technology and manufacturing, will feature its “AutoCAD 3D Modeling Exercise Workbook,” which contains eight illustrated lessons and four modeling projects for classroom instruction and self-study by both inch and metric users.
Each lesson starts with step-by-step instructions on how to create 3D solid models, followed by exercises designed for practicing the commands learned within that lesson. The modeling projects are designed so that users can create complex 3D models by combining commands learned within the previous lessons.
Readers can also follow along and customize their creations using downloadable sample files which accompany some of the lessons and modeling projects.
Written by Steve Heather, an author and official beta tester of AutoCAD software, this is a resource for designers, architects and manufacturers who are using AutoCAD to create their own 3D models and transfer them to a 3D printer for manufacturing and use in the real world.
Industrial Press will also feature its “Autodesk Revit Basics Training Manual,” its “Beginning AutoCAD 2018 Exercise Workbook” and “Grasshopper: Visual Sculpting for Rhinoceros 3D.”
