Waterjet Cuts Virtually Any Material Without HAZ
Jet Edge’s Mid Rail Gantry model MR513 waterjet cutting machine can process material as large as 5 ×13 ft. and is well-suited for fabricators, machine shops, and stone and tile shops.
The waterjet is available in a range of work envelopes, from 5 × 5 ft. to 24 × 13 ft. An industrial PC controller can be configured so that all three axes are fully programmable (Z optional). They feature direct-couple, AC, brushless, digital servo motors and single or double carriages. Critical bearing components are protected by heavy metal covers with brush seals. The waterjet is powered by a 25- to 280-hp intensifier pump that is available in 36-, 60- and 90-ksi (2,500-, 4,100- and 6,200-bar) models.
