All of the company’s product lines now incorporate this control, which is designed to allow greater compatibility between machines and to reduce the learning curve for machinists transitioning to new technologies.
The unit is controlled on a 15" LCD touchscreen display. According to the company, the control’s simple menu configuration allows for easy navigation on the Windows XP operating system, and on-board manuals keep rarely needed information close at hand.
Operation is further simplified with improved graphics, NC design and a faster drawing time. The control offers a USB interface, allowing the user to attach almost any expansion device, the company says.
Although these features are offered across the board, each of the product lines has additional software that is specialized for its specific needs.
