TE Connectivity’s FPS2800 oil property sensor monitors oil condition in industrial machinery applications to optimize and ensure longer lifetimes for equipment. It measures multiple physical properties, allowing simultaneous sensing of the quality, condition and contaminant of the oil. The sensor, which is installed directly on the equipment, helps determine when to change oil and detects system issues that could lead to significant issues.
The oil property sensor offers multi-parametric sensing that measures dynamic viscosity, density, dielectric constant and temperature for enhanced fluid analysis. A simple integration, which fits M14x1.5 ports, and its simple communication CAN protocol per SAE J1939 standard ease installation. A rugged construction of stainless steel 316L housing provides long-term performance.
