Cecor’s model SE15-60PL Sump Shark is a single-phase, electric, 60-gallon sump cleaner that can suction-lift 13" of mercury or 177" of water at a rate of 60 gallons per minute. According to the company, the sump cleaner can suck up an entire sump of metalworking fluids entrained with sludge or chips in minutes. As contents enter the machine, the onboard filter separates fluid from the solids. The filtered fluid will be pumped back into the tank.
The cleaner features a space-saving vertical design and can be plugged into a standard 110-V electric unit. It is equipped with overfill protection and all discharge ports are valved. The unit is equipped with hoses, a quick-disconnect coupler, suction tools and filter bags. An optional 2.3-ft.3 F23 filter is available for coolant heavy with chips and swarf. A DF4 discharge filter is available to improve filtration.
