This screw machine is ruggedly built and capable of using form tools, each slide having a full two-axis servo-controlled travel. For medium and complex parts, it can match the speed of cam-driven machines, the company says. A turret-mounted pickoff spindle comes standard, and the base machine model comes equipped with a gang platform supporting three backworking tools. Each main turret position accepts VDI-30 live tooling with four live tool holders. Bar diameter capacity for this model is 51 mm with a maximum turning length of 130 mm. This machine comes with a Mitsubishi M830 CNC. All LNTS models can be equipped with an optional Y-axis gang tooled cross slide for both static and live tools.
