View MoreSouthwestern Industries has developed the Trak 2OP, a portable VMC said to be well-suited for secondary machining operations. The machine is designed to reduce overall cycle and throughput times by performing secondary operations while another machine performs the primary operations.
The Trak 2OP has an eight-station automatic toolchanger and can run G code. The machine utilizes the company’s ProtoTrak CNC technology with conversational language programming. Programs can be generated either at the machine or remotely to perform tasks normally associated with secondary operations.
