The Digital Static Meter indicates surface voltage and polarity on objects up to ±20 kV from one inch (25 mm) away. Typically, the highest reading will indicate the source of static, Exair says. The meter features an LED-illuminated readout and a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) certification for accuracy. According to the company, its ‘zero’ function ensures accuracy of ±5%.
