Fanuc FA America’s Focas Automation Solution Connect (FASConnect) enables network-distributed data management for all Fanuc CNC machine tools. It is scalable from 2 to 22 simultaneous users and unlimited CNC connections in packs of 10.
The software-only solution installs as a Windows service on a central computer, which then becomes the server. Several of these “servers” are possible. Once configured, the solution allows access to all Fanuc CNC systems that are on the plant network. CNC systems from the late 1990s are capable of Ethernet communication to the plant network, and older systems can use Fanuc HSSB fiber optic communication.
Built-in security enables users to back up critical CNC data, and remote writing of part programs to the CNC is possible as long as the user has the correct username/password credentials.
