View MoreThe HSC 30 Linear and HSC 70 Linear precision milling machines from DMG Mori are said to provide quality surface finish for tool and moldmaking applications. According to the company, the cooling concept and thermo-symmetrical portal design enable precision of 5 microns. Surface qualities of less than 0.15 Ra can be achieved with the high-speed cutting (HSC) spindles featuring shaft, flange and sleeve cooling. Linear drives in all axes provide high dynamics, and specific control cycles are included for HSC technology. The milling machines can be equipped with DMG Mori’s Celos control and 21.5" Ergoline panel, or with Operate 4.5 on a Siemens 840D Solutionline or Heidenhain TNC 640 control.
