View MoreThe 5530 Dynamic Calibrator is a laser-based CMM and machine tool calibration system that offers accuracy to 0.4 ppm. It is used by manufacturers, operators and calibration service providers to verify machine accuracy and make precision distance measurements. The system is smaller and lighter than previous versions for improved portability. It works with the company’s 5519A and 5519B lasers, which are said to provide stability, reliability and long life. The calibrator enables customers to document conformance to eight international quality standards and use compensation data to correct machine positioning errors and diagnose geometry problems, the company says. The calibration system includes a laser source, optics, PC-based electronics and Windows-based software. A range of optics and accessories is available for a variety of calibration measurements.
