Spring Technologies will demonstrate its recently launched NCSIMUL Machine 9 with extended features dedicated to multi-axis and multitasking machining centers. The software package is designed to interconnect with other company-wide software systems, such as MRP, ERP, and MES. The program integrates all machine, tools and material parameters and features new ribbon technology navigation, enabling users to work more efficiently. The interface is designed to work on touchscreen devices to facilitate mobility. NCSIMUL Machine hub apps enable users to browse shared jobs or replay NC simulations with one click, the company says.

Interactive programming features automate G-code generation from 3D motions or enable dynamic editing of the NC program. The 3D functional dimensioning module enables users to add 3D graphics to workpieces and create a document describing the list of dimensions that need checking at each machining stage. Revised algorithms support ISO decoding, probing and material removal with tools in 3D, as well as optimized cutting conditions. Collision detection and material removal calculations are performed simultaneously. Addtional features include flexible project-based management, tree organization, project/article/sub-article, jobs copied between projects, simplified search mechanism and job templates.
