The 0.125"-thick wheels have a waffle-style pattern on their face that the company says allows cooler grinding and longer working life. They are designed to absorb workpiece vibrations and do not require hard pressure, thus reducing operator fatigue. The white aluminum oxide wheels are said to provide contaminate-free finish on stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. They are available in 4.5", 5" and 7" diameters with 7/8" and 5/8"-11 arbor holes.
The FGF-Special wheels have a raised knob pattern on their wheel face for cool grinding without material build up. They are designed to grind and blend on curved and straight surfaces without gouging. The aluminum oxide wheels are recommended for stainless steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals.
