Cincinnati Machines’ V5A five-axis CNC cutter grinder has built-in five-axis conversational programming to automatically grind straight, ball, radius, tapered and tapered-ball endmill cutters. A 3D-model simulation system is also included. Drill, two-step drill, reamer and endmill roughing software menus options are available.
With its 10-hp, 6,000-rpm grinding spindle, 40- or 50-taper workhead and PC-based five-axis CNC, the machine accommodates tools as long as 10" with 8" diameter.
