Suited for high-volume operations, Imco Carbide Tool’s Pow-R-Feed M924 end mill features reinforced, optimized cutting edges and an AlCrNX-engineered coating to increase metal removal rates and tool life. The coating also offers enhanced heat protection, the company says. The end mill’s reinforced cutting edges are designed to resist chipping and excessive wear, even in demanding applications. According to the company, a 38-degree helix creates a higher-than-usual shear plane to increase feed rates compared to other general-purpose cutting tools.
