M.A. Ford offers the 2XDCE coolant-fed, high-performance drill to the Twister XD family. Designed to drill water lines in molds, the extra-long drill is suited for deep-hole drilling applications. The drilling geometry is said to increase productivity and reduce cycle time by virtually eliminating the need for a peck drilling cycle. It is available in sizes ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" (3 to 12 mm) with flute length-to-diameter ratios ranging from 12×D to 25×D.
