Connecting the application to MTConnect-enabled machines on the shop floor will enable the real-time display of manufacturing analytics on an informative, dynamic dashboard. The software reads MTConnect tags and offers users the ability to add and display multiple devices/agents as well as configure an event to reflect if a machine is running or not.
The dashboard displays machine utilization on an eight-hour rolling trend chart that can be viewed on a device such as a smartphone. Users can assess machine uptime and downtime with dynamic color feedback. The visualization of the current state of devices in the system enables quick identification of machine problems and potential bottlenecks. Analysis of utilization trends can provide an objective comparison of operation time, which can bring to light optimization opportunities that exist to boost productivity, the company says.
