View MoreOmax will demonstrate the A-Jet cutting head accessory for waterjet cutting centers. The cutting head accessory adds two motion axes, enabling the cutting nozzle to tilt from 0 to 60 degrees from the vertical position. The added axes of motion enable production of beveled edges in preparation for welding operations. The head can also make precise angled cuts and correct for the taper normally found in an abrasive waterjet cut. The accessory eliminates the need for many secondary machining and grinding operations, the company says.
The company will also display the Maxiem 1530 JetCutting center featuring its Intelli-Max software suite.
