Cutters, Inserts Increase Feed Rates
Dapra’s Rhino-Feed line of heavy-feed cutters and inserts are designed to enable faster feed rates in moderate- to heavy-DOC and -FPT applications.
According to the company, the Rhino-Feed line adjusts feed rates to compensate for the significant chip thinning that occurs when an extreme lead angle is utilized during high-feed milling. Mini-Feed and Mid-Feed cutters and inserts are also available for diameters as small as 0.5" and depths of cut as small as 0.015".
