Leaders-In background
Dapra’s Rhino-Feed line of heavy-feed cutters and inserts are designed to enable faster feed rates in moderate- to heavy-DOC and -FPT applications. The cutters are optimized for cuts ranging from 1.25" to 4" in diameter. Heavy-Feed 12-mm IC (inscribed circle) inserts feature four usable edges. End mills and shell mills feature extra-strong top clamping suitable for heavier DOC (up to 0.06") and larger machines such as 50-taper and box ways.

According to the company, the Rhino-Feed line adjusts feed rates to compensate for the significant chip thinning that occurs when an extreme lead angle is utilized during high-feed milling. Mini-Feed and Mid-Feed cutters and inserts are also available for diameters as small as 0.5" and depths of cut as small as 0.015".
