CAM Program Adds Machine Simulation Option
Surfware’s Surfcam version 5.2 features a machine simulation option.
Surfware’s Surfcam version 5.2 features a machine simulation option. The software tool provides full machine simulation, toolpath and model analysis, and stock removal verification for milling, turning and turn-mill applications. It can identify problems, such as potential collisions, gouges and over-travel conditions, enabling the user to make corrections prior to NC code generation.
Users can create a tool path, simulate it for machine movement, collisions and over-travel, and run detailed analysis of the tool paths before ever running them on the shop floor.
