Available from Vero Software, Surfcam 2014 R1 includes adaptive roughing technology as well as enhancements for its “masking,” “chaining,” “layering” and “operations manager” functions. Users will have control over licensing via the web through the new Surfcam Customer Portal. Updated and additional CAD translators, postprocessors and editNC are included in the release. The 3D CAM software for 2D and 3D modeling enables CNC programming for two-, three-, four- and five-axis machining.
