Leaders-In background
Sandvik Coromant’s CoroMill Plura ballnose end mills are designed for profiling in medium-hard to hard steels. The end mills range from 0.1 to 12 mm in diameter and are suited for small die and mold, electronic fiber optic connector and medical tooth implant manufacture, in which high precision is important.

The end mills are produced in a fine-grained, solid carbide grade with multi -layered PVD coating. The geometry prevents the radius from deteriorating from uneven wear, and the tool’s long neck eases accessibility, especially in pocket milling, the company says.
