They feature PLC-controlled, automatic dressing cycles with servo-driven dressing wheels in feed, power swing and oscillation. The machines can be fully enclosed for operator safety and dust control.

The FC-250EX and FC-700EX automatic diamond and CBN wheel truing and dressing machines from Rush Machinery are designed to true and dress flats, angles and radii on single wheels and multiple wheel packs. They feature PLC-controlled, automatic dressing cycles with servo-driven dressing wheels in feed, power swing and oscillation. The machines can be fully enclosed for operator safety and dust control.
The machines are said to increase efficiency and accuracy by profiling, modifying profiles and truing wheels offline of the production grinding machinery. They are simple to operate, quick, accurate and cost effective, the company says. Wheel diameter capacities range to 28" (700 mm).
The one-piece, cast iron base is said to provide extra rigidity and minimize vibration. Standard features include ExVision, a computer-driven vision system with a software program specifically designed for the machines and their various applications; an automatic power zoom; and a two-axis DRO for measurement.
