GF Machining Solutions Names Canada Distributor

GF Machining Solutions (Lincolnshire, Illinois) has named Machine Tools Systems Inc. (Ontario, Canada) its new exclusive distributor in Canada. Machine Tool Systems specializes in grinding and other manufacturing solutions. The company will represent GF Machining Solutions in Canada beginning July 16, 2016.
According to Machine Tool Systems, the new technologies available through its partnership with GF Machining Solutions increases its ability to provide solutions to customers in the automotive, aerospace, biomedical and die/mold industries. The company will now offer EDM, milling and laser texturing equipment to address the specialized needs of customers.
Current GF customers in Canada can expect a streamlined transition to the new distributor as well as full service support, says the company. GF Machining Solutions will directly handle the service of its Canadian customers’ equipment.
As a result of the partnership, Machine Tool Systems will add a new product manager to exclusively serve the GF Machining Solutions product range. There will also be an applications engineer to assist in the support of GF Machining Solutions customers and a full-time service engineer to support the Mikron milling products.
Machine Tool Systems is opening a new 5,000-square-foot showroom in Ontario. The showroom is a demonstration facility equipped with working machines that are also used for applications engineering. On-hand inventory includes GF AgieCharmilles wire and die-sinker EDM technologies as well as a GF Mikron mill. It also displays a surface grinding system to showcase the complete range of solutions available to the die/mold industry.
