Bavius Technologie Appoints New President, Schedules Technology Showcase
Roy D. Cripps will lead the team at Bavius as it aims to expand its current business in aerospace structures and develop new market segments. Additionally, the company will showcase its technology during an open house event on June 11.

Bavius Technologie, a German manufacturer of highly productive five-axis machines and solutions provider of flexible automation systems, has appointed Roy D. Cripps as president – Americas. Cripps is said to have expertise in maximizing sales profitability, new business and global revenue growth. He will lead the team at Bavius with the support of Andreas Much, who recently accepted the role of director aerospace structures – Americas.
Bavius aims to expand its current business in aerospace structures and develop new market segments with its range of precise, high-speed machines designed to machine large aluminum parts. The company will showcase its latest technologies during the Innovative Manufacturing Day at its factory in Baienfurt, Germany, on June 11. Highlighted technology will include artificial intelligence in manufacturing, the company’s digital twin and machines equipped with advanced cutting technologies.
