View MoreTakumi’s VC1052 features XYZ travels of 41.7" x 20.5" x 24". It is a linear guide vertical machining center that includes a 15,000 RPM inline spindle with a BBT40 spindle taper. The VC series by Takumi was designed for customers focusing on batch or production work.
The Takumi VC1052 is equipped with the latest Fanuc 0i-MF control with 1-GB dataserver. Optional accessories include a fourth axis rotary table, 32 tool holder conversion as well as part probe and tool probe measurement systems.
Takumi USA has partnered with Renishaw to be the first CNC machine tool brand to offer Renishaw’s Set and Inspect app for the FANUC control. The Set and Inspect app is designed to help job shops of all sizes be more efficient by making it possible for anyone with a part probe to immediately add inspection probing to their process. Set and Inspect is said to be so easy to use that little training is required: the software’s interface guides the user through the process of creating a probing cycle, automatically generates the required machine code for the probing cycle and sends it to the control.
