One of the first live, in-person events for the precision machining community in more than 18 months is underway in Cleveland, Ohio, at the Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS). Featuring more than 66,000 square feet of exhibition space and 250-plus exhibitors, the show has so far attracted more than 5,400 registrants to the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.
Today is the second full day of PMTS 2021, and will feature live demonstrations by a variety of machine tool builders as well as a series of brief, interactive presentations on the show floor. Topics included in today’s presentations will include CNC automation, large volume production, post-processing, data management and more.
It’s not too late to be part of one of the first in-person manufacturing and machining events since 2020, and the first PMTS since 2019!
“It’s been great to see friends and industry partners at a machining technology show for the first time in far too long,” says Bryce Ellis, publisher for Modern Machine Shop. “We are looking forward to a full day of events and connecting with old friends and new on the showfloor both today and tomorrow.”
Co-presented by the Precision Machined Products Association and by Production Machining, Products Finishing and Modern Machine Shop, the Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS) addresses product technology, process innovation and business development in the precision machined parts industry.
