DN Solutions: New Name, Same Company
While the company’s name has changed, its goal at this IMTS is to reassure customers that its commitment to manufacturing has not.

DN Solutions has some big shoes to fill: its own.
Doosan changed its name earlier this year after being purchased by DN Automotive, an automotive parts manufacturer with over 50 years of experience in manufacturing.
This experience in manufacturing is important to DN Solutions, as the company has one clear message going into IMTS: The quality that machine shops expect from its machine tools will not slip. “We’re really excited that our new owners are manufacturers,” says Clarissa Goffinski, marketing consultant with DN Solutions. “It matters that we have people at the helm who understand and care about manufacturing.”
It’s understandable if customers are a bit hesitant when new ownership takes over trusted brands. However, IMTS offers a great opportunity for visitors to check out DN Solutions at booth 338900 in the South Building and see for themselves how seriously the company is taking its commitment to its customers.
While at the booth, visitors can see the debut of the BVM 5700, a massive bridge-type VMC designed for heavy parts. The 17,000-pound machine’s immense mass provides excellent damping, and its spindle is capable of 15,000 rpm.
The company’s goal for the BVM 5700 is to give end-users everything they need right out of the box. Among the standard features offered are AICC II with Smooth Surface Package, which benefits contouring and high-speed machining applications.
