Video: What Is 5S?
Here is a training film a job shop developed to help its employees understand 5S.
Production Machine & Enterprises, a job shop in Madison, Wisconsin, produced this internal training video to teach all incoming new employees about 5S.
The video is interesting for a couple of reasons. First, it’s a useful introduction to 5S—including “before” and “after” photos that show what a successful transition to 5S looks like.
Second, the video illustrates what kind of training resources it’s possible for even a small shop to develop using basic video equipment and software.
