Particularly suited for manufacturing rotary cutting tools and inserts, the machine produces high-quality tools with total-cost efficiency, the company says.
The wheel-changing station includes relevant coolant pipes to enable automatic change-over without operator intervention. It is integrated into the standard machine, additional floor space is not required.
Also available is the LaserSmart laser ablation machine, which offers extra-fine, 3D laser machining for the cutting tool industry. It is suited for PCD, cBN and other hard, high-technology materials in applications such as rake faces, chip breakers, logos and tool numbers.
