KMT Waterjet Systems now offers the E series, a high-pressure waterjet system available in a slimmed down package. The system includes the essential options of the full-featured Plus series. The series offers benefits such as lower costs and easy maintenance to deliver fast cutting, the company says.
Specifically designed to be less expensive, the pump remains functional. To achieve this, the company found ways to reduce the costs associated with the frame and several other non-critical areas. The pump is designed to continuously produce pressure of 52,000 psi, and its slow-stroking, high pressure plunger is useful in long production runs. Hydraulic power is used to slow plunger stroke rates and extend seal life at high pressures, the company says.
