Rovi Products Inc. now offers a quick-change pneumatic pallet system featuring a design that allows the machine operator to swap pallets in approximately 20 seconds. The operator can then unload and load parts while the machine is running. The accuracy from pallet to pallet is ±0.001". Six different pallet sizes are available.
The company cites potential advantages of using the system as increased versatility and accuracy, as well as more spindle time per shift. In addition, the system is ready to use out of the box, with no training necessary.
