Witte America’s Aluquick universal fixturing system is suitable for a variety of applications including aircraft maintenance work. It can complement gages used for checking irregular-shaped pipes, saving money and time, the company says.
The system’s latest component additions enable users to mount pipes of different lengths, shapes and diameters on fixtures built exclusively from standard components. Rotary and angle elements adapt to workpiece contact points in virtually all angles and degrees.
Additional scales on these adjustable elements enable repeatable settings so that measuring fixtures or gages are adaptable to virtually all kinds of pipe shapes.
Exchangeable, U-shaped contour blocks check the diameters and the location of pipes in defined positions. The fixtures can be adjusted using simple measuring accessories making the part ready for measuring or checking.
Fixtures can be pre-designed using a CAD library to simplify assembly.Related Content
