Columbia Marking Tools has designed and built the Model 20-20SD, a two-sided, barstock roll-marking machine. The heavy-duty machine simultaneously imprints continuous identification information on two sides of square, hexagonal or round barstock that can range in size from 3/8" to 2 ½" (9.5 cm to 63.5 cm). This eliminates the need for secondary marking operations, the company says.
Fitting sizes, types, lot numbers, part numbers, company logos, trademarks and date codes can be roll marked on one or two sides of the barstock. The machine can be set up and changed over from one size to another in 2 minutes.
