As a manufacturer of high-precision machine tools, Starrag’s goal is to develop solutions to help companies reach full potential. Through its products and services, Starrag hopes to add value to every company that utilizes its solutions. Starrag aims to form close, long-term collaborations with partners characterized by trust, openness and mutual inspiration.
The brand Starrag unites the product ranges Berthiez, Bumotec, Dörries, Droop+Rein, Ecospeed, Heckert, Scharmann, SIP, Starrag and TTL. Starrag USA, Inc.’s headquarters is located in Hebron, Kentucky. Located at Starrag USA HQ is a showcase of machine models from Bumotec and Starrag. The goal is to develop tailor-made solutions with customers to suit their needs in person in the US or via digital live demos.
One example of this is the new Bumotec 191 Neo, premeiring at IMTS 2022. It is not just a single machining solution — it is virtually 12 different machines in one platform. Having a diverse range is the way Starrag and Bumotec aim to meet the specific requirements of typical users in the fields of medical technology, micromechanics and the luxury goods industry.
The LX series from Starrag is another example of solutions created by Starrag. These machining centers are designed for the high-precision, efficient five-axis machining of turbine blades. The company says this ultra-modern machining platform is the result of decades of experience in the development of machine tools, CAM systems and special tools combined with Starrag’s knowledgeable experience in the prototype and series production of turbine blades.
In addition, Starrag has partnered with True Analytics Manufacturing Solutions (TAMS). True Analytics RevolutionCore is a comprehensive ecosystem for smart manufacturing. Starrag’s suite of applications are purpose built and designed to enable collaboration, make data accessible, integrate systems and devices and solve problems. It is designed by manufacturers to solve manufacturing problems.
