Ingersoll offers the Hex-Turn family of inserts and toolholders. Featuring 12 cutting edges, the inserts have wiper geometry on every corner to enhance surface finish. According to the company, the 45-degree lead angle allows high feed rates with low cutting forces.
The external and internal toolholders use the company's T-Type clamping system, which is designed to provide high clamping force and fast, accurate indexing. The internal holders are equipped with directional coolant control.
