View MorePrecision Cutting Tools’ AXC series drill features a triple-margin drill point designed to create a stronger, more-symmetrical, self-centering end geometry. The accurate drill is well-suited for high-penetration applications in aluminum, the company says. A 15-degree internal coolant design improves chip evacuation and controls temperatures throughout machining. The spiral-fluted, right-hand drills are available in diameters ranging from 3 to 20 mm with 3×D to 30×D models. The drills are coated with Z-Power (ZrN) to increase wear resistance.
