The Tracer Minibar, a hydrodynamic magazine bar feeder from CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies, is engineered to feed barstock diameters ranging from 0.8 to 12 mm in diameter and up to 12 ft. in length. Designed for economy and efficiency, the bar feeder enables fixed-headstock and Swiss-type CNC lathes to feed large quantities of small-diameter barstock. An operator can adjust the bar feeder for different stock sizes without using tools, the company says. Fast changeover of guide channel sets increase throughput and minimize setup times. Torque force and speed are also said to be easily adjustable, permitting smaller stock to be fed consistently.
“The Tracer 12-ft. Minibar feeder is designed to give Swiss lathe users the ability to feed barstock smaller than 13 mm in diameter at an economical price,” says Jessica Presutto, national sales manager.
